Little Sodus Bay, located in the the quaint little town of Fair Haven, New York, connects to the pristine, natural beauty of Lake Ontario.

Lydia was so fortunate to have the privilege of growing up on this bay her entire childhood. Her parents, and both sets of her grandparents had homes just doors away from each other. Naturally, when she and Seth began planning their wedding, there was no question where they would celebrate… Little Sodus Bay.

The setting could not have been more beautiful. And the weather was perfect.

A late afternoon wedding allowed for the sun to slowly set behind those seated for the ceremony. Family and friends watched as Lydia and Seth exchanged vows in front of a stunning waterfront backdrop.

Just before the reception started, I was able to steal the bride and groom away for beautiful photos on the shores of Lake Ontario. An incredible rock beach and pier are located just down at the end of the road. These photos capture Lydia and Seth’s love for each other at a place so special to them both.

The celebration continued under a large tent with a buffet bar-b-que dinner and live music.

The culmination of the evening was a beautiful fireworks display put on by the bride’s father. I have had the opportunity to photograph many different “exits” for weddings. However, this display of fireworks over the bay, had to have been one of the most incredible.
